Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you in our courses for the learning, not because you're locked in. If a course isn't right for you, the refund terms below are intentionally student-friendly. Read them before you enroll so there are no surprises later.
1. Free signup & free trial
Creating an account on learn.trigunai.com, watching the first 2 modules of any course, and attending your 1 free live class slot are all free of charge. There is nothing to refund. You can cancel your free account anytime by emailing us — your data is deleted within 30 days.
2. Paid enrollment refund window
When you complete a paid enrollment (when paid enrollment goes live — currently not active), the following refund schedule applies:

"Accessed" means you've started a module's video or attended a live class for that module. Just opening the page doesn't count.
3. How to request a refund
- Email deepak@trigunai.com from the email address associated with your account, with subject "Refund request — <your course name>".
- Tell us briefly why you're refunding. We're not going to argue with you, but the feedback genuinely helps us improve.
- We will acknowledge within 24 hours and process the refund within 5–7 business days via the same payment method you used. The credit appears in your bank statement 2–5 business days after that, depending on your bank.
4. Refunds when we cancel
If we cancel your enrollment for reasons not caused by you (e.g. we discontinue a course, we cannot deliver promised live classes, we suspend a cohort), you get a full prorated refund covering the portion you haven't consumed yet — regardless of the time elapsed.
If we suspend or terminate your account for serious violation of our Terms of Service (harassment, content theft, illegal use), no refund is owed for the unused portion.
5. What is and isn't covered
- Covered: the course tuition you paid.
- Not covered: any third-party costs you incurred to take the course (Meta Quest hardware, OpenAI/Anthropic API credits, internet costs). We never resell these, and the choice to spend on them is yours.
- Not covered: taxes paid to the government (GST when applicable) on the portion already consumed. The taxable portion goes to the government; we cannot refund that.
6. Live class no-shows & rescheduling
- If you miss a scheduled live class without 24-hour notice, that slot is consumed — we set aside time and resources for it.
- You may reschedule a live class up to 24 hours before its start by emailing us. Within 24 hours, we'll try our best to accommodate but the slot may be lost.
- If we cancel a live class without 24-hour notice, we will reschedule and add a make-up session at no extra cost.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, your enrollment will be suspended pending the bank's investigation. We process legitimate refunds within 5–7 business days — please give us the chance to resolve directly before going through your bank.
8. Force majeure
If circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent us from delivering a course (natural disaster, sustained internet outage, force majeure events), we will pause your cohort and resume when possible, or issue a prorated refund if resumption isn't feasible within 90 days.
9. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, contact our Grievance Officer (Deepak Kumar) at deepak@trigunai.com. We respond within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days, per India's IT Rules 2021. If still unresolved, see Terms of Service §15 for the dispute mechanism.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The version in effect at the time you complete a paid enrollment governs that enrollment — later changes don't reduce refund rights you had at enrollment.
